Thinking of submitting your city?
Here are the full details for submissions. We’d love to have you!
Do you live in a city or town that has lots of things to do for creatives? Whether it’s for entrepreneurs, freelancers or just to feed your creativity, I want to hear from you.
Over the years I’ve worked with many creative business owners, living all over the world and facing different realities when it comes to creative work + play. I love getting a little insight on Twitter or by email about their experiences + I want to share your stories about what is available where you live. Maybe that wonderful little craft market you must attend each Summer or that boutique that stocks all your favourite handmade finds. When you step outside your door, what or who are you inspired by, locally?
Our column Your City // For Creatives takes a peak into life for Creatives where you live. But I need your help. I want to share stories from all over the world, so if you have an idea and would like to take part please submit your city or town following the instructions below.
Email with:
Your post : 300- 600 words on creative places to visit in your city.
Your bio: 30- 5o words that sum you up including links to your blog, website, social media.
Your photo: A jpeg headshot of you 150px by 150px. If you send a larger image we will size it down.
Ideally, I’d like our correspondents to commit to three posts spread out over a couple of months (although this is not essential). I’m looking for quality, above all else.
What will you get?
- The chance to spread the word about your favourite places in your City or town.
- The opportunity to give some virtual traffic and footfall to places you feature.
- Links to your website/blog/twitter/shop and credits for all photos.
This is a great opportunity for you to collaborate with other Creatives in your area. Maybe you are a fantastic writer but your photos leave a bit to be desired? You can team up with a photographer or a designer to give your photos the wow factor. This is your chance to experiment, try something different and get recognition for it.
So what do you think? Would you like to be involved?
